Associate Service Operations Specialist - Enrollment

General Summary
Responsible for reviewing and updating enrollment records, acknowledging and reporting receipt of client files, responding to client inquiries, and resolving client concerns within pre-determined departmental policies and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities
- Research customer information in response to inquiries including, but not limited to, coordination of benefits and enrollment.
- Complete missing member information on enrollment applications by researching member data within the Coventry enrollment system, making investigative phone calls and completing required fields on the vendor workflow system while reconciling against the scanned image of the application.
- Process and maintain health plan's enrollment records by working exceptions and system generated member record edits (electronic enrollment exception updates).
- Proactively identify issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Interface with customers by telephone and/or correspondence to respond to inquiries and resolve concerns.
- Compile, maintain and report individual inventory statistics on a daily basis.
- Take responsibility for own self-development; recommends areas where cross-training is needed.
- Promote positive team environment; seeks out ways to continuously improve teaming.
- Understand the team's performance against measured service operation goals; accepts ownership for individual and team results; identifies and initiates process improvements.
- Performs other duties as required.

Job Specifications
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Demonstrate analytical, critical thinking and basic problem solving skills.
- Proven ability to multi-task and work through multiple systems simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain production levels and quality goals.
- Customer service and/or team experience.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Required to pass a battery of job-related tests administered prior to employment.
