Aon Benfield Analytics is the technical consulting arm of Aon Benfield, the world's largest reinsurance intermediary. We are a multi-disciplinary team of professionals with expertise in actuarial science, accounting, tax, insurance/securities law, underwriting, catastrophe modeling and financial disciplines. We are fully involved in all aspects of the broking process, namely origination (winning and growing clients), structuring (designing products to solve their risk management/financing problems) and execution (placing these products with reinsurers and investors).

Position Overview
As a Senior Actuarial Analyst, you will work in a small team of actuaries to conduct detailed reinsurance pricing and modeling analyses. You will present the results of your analyses, which are used to aid in the design and pricing of reinsurance structures, to brokers, reinsurers, and clients. You may also assist brokers in negotiations with reinsurers. In addition to evaluating reinsurance products, you will have opportunities to develop dynamic financial models to assist clients with capital requirements and risk management. You will become familiar with Aon Benfield's tools and business approach, contribute to their development, and present Aon Benfield's solutions and services to our clients.

Requirements
Related Bachelors degree. ACAS strongly preferred, with approximately 3-5 years directly applicable actuarial experience from the P and C (commercial lines preferred) industry.  
 Strong proficiency with computer and MS applications. Programming experience helpful.
Demonstrated time/project management and lead work assignments. 
Effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to understand and explain mathematical and technical concepts
Demonstrated consultative skills to effectively work in a cohesive team environment as well as communicate with a variety of internal and external parties. 
Accountable for continuous learning, pursuit of the FCAS and/or professional development opportunities, remaining well-informed of related industry trends and the regulatory landscape.
