Full-time Director, Provider Relatiions

CompServices is always looking for qualified people to administer our current products, research new products and technologies, and provide our customers with the best service.

Directs all phases of multiple location organization to provide high quality, cost-effective recruitment, retention and servicing of physician and physician organization networks. Motivates, monitors and manages staff of four professionals to accomplish goals. Directs the company wide medical cost saving initiatives to support product sales, contain medical costs, and create and sustain a competitive medical loss ratio for all lines of business. Directs and participates in negotiations and management of physician organization agreements. Directs provider reimbursement staff and processes including provider reimbursement and bill review. Oversees pharmacy benefits management contract.

Required Qualifications:
An Undergraduate degree in health care administration or related field required. A Masters degree is preferred. A minimum of seven years work experience in insurance, hospital management, MSO management or similar experience is required. At least five years should be in a leadership capacity. Experience in managed care hospital contracting and negotiation is necessary. Specific knowledge of geographic markets is essential. Experience managing field offices within parameters set by parent organization. Must be skilled in high level contract negotiations with providers in a managed care environment.

Must have high-level organization and management skills with managing multi-location staff. Knowledge of medical cost structure, the legal aspects of provider contracting, and the medical/legal aspects of licensure, accreditation and incorporation are necessary. Must be able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and analytical ability. Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets is necessary.
