POSITION SUMMARY
This position is with our bridging services (a.k.a fronting services) business unit which is one of our key services. We provide a rapid entry into territories or for new product launches for various companies and insurers as well as wholesalers.

This role is responsible for the financial analysis of a portfolio of insurance companies and agencies and other general corporations that may be publicly traded. Focus on ratings and research of insurance companies and their financial strength. Assess the ability to transfer risk to reinsurance companies and their ability to accept the risk.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Due diligence and underwriting for prospective reinsurance companies, including scoping, management of diligence team, documentation of observations, findings and analysis
• Oversee the ongoing analysis of quantitative and qualitative data from a company's financial reports and other sources of information
• Ensure that required collateral is adequate and maintained
• Produce analytical summaries of data regarding the Company's reinsurance portfolio
• Management responsibility including professional and clerical staff
• Conduct special projects for management as needed

REQUIREMENTS
• MBA or CFA required
• 5-7 years of financial analysis experience required from any company providing the target analysis involved insurance related products
• Property and Casualty Insurance experience preferred
• Experience with business recommendations/presentations to executive management
• Knowledge of actuarial data
• GAAP and Statutory financial reporting involving insurance companies
• Strong understanding of insurance terms and their importance
• Knowledge of insurance company rating methodology
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Requires strong analytical/numerical/quantitative skills
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point

Salary up to $140,000 predicated upon experience, Relocation available for qualified candidates
