Full-time Catastrophe Specialist - RiskLink and MS Access Skills Needed

Chubb is currently seeking a skilled Catastrophe Specialist to join our team in Whitehouse Station, NJ.

Position Description:
As a member of the Catastrophe Evaluation Unit, the Catastrophe Specialist will be responsible for the creation of reports including pre- and post-analysis exposure comparisons, risk profile exhibits, Total Insured Values by geographic zone exhibits and excess average annual loss driver analyses as the need arises. The Catastrophe Specialist will specialize in natural catastrophe and terrorism, functioning in an autonomous manner, providing the information to management with limited direction. The incumbent will be responsible for data preparation for natural catastrophe and terrorism portfolio analyses.

The natural catastrophe portfolio analysis include but are not limited to U.S. hurricane (full coastline analyses as well as Northeast, Southeast, Florida, Gulf and Texas regional analyses), New Madrid earthquake and Pacific Northwest earthquake.

The terrorism portfolio analyses include but are not limited to New York City, Chicago, Washington DC, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Houston, Miami, Las Vegas and Seattle.

The data preparation process includes importing account location data into the RiskLink and/or PTM models, conducting an analysis using the appropriate DLM and/or PTM profile and creating pre- and post- analysis summaries for the review of the Analysis Manager or Catastrophe Manager.

The portfolio loss driver analyses will vary, but will consist of analyzing the results of natural catastrophe or terrorism analyses for the purposes of answering questions for senior managers as they set strategy.

The terrorism analyses will be completed under the direct supervision of management
