Full-time Contract & Appointment Specialist - Strong Organizational and Analytical Skills Needed

Chubb is currently seeking a Contract & Appointment Specialist to join our team in Whitehouse Station, NJ.

Working under the supervision Agency Services Supervisor, the Contract and Appointment Specialist will be responsible for processing per department guidelines the following branch requests for a designated territory: New Agency Appointments, Appointment Renewals, Branch Transfers, Producer Change, Cancel and Use, Cancel/Terminations, Company Extensions, and Individual Extensions and Adds for Chubb Agents and Producers as appropriate.

This role is accountable for performing per department guidelines the following routines to ensure the accuracy and compliance of the above functions; Not on File Gap processing, 1099 processing, Actuarial reporting, Non-Compliance resolution, NIPR analysis and resolution ensuring state compliance, and State Appointment Renewal processing for Chubb Agents and Producers and other routines as developed/directed by the Agency Services Supervisor.

The position also expects execution of special projects as designated by the Agency Services Supervisor and sharing of skills and experience with other Agency Services staff as a Subject Matter Expert.

The individual must be self-motivated and enjoy working both independently and within the Agency Services team. Must be detail oriented, accurate and timely and enjoy adapting to a changing environment.

The ideal candidate must be able to understand:
• Agency and Producer contract and appointment terminology
• Company Agency and Producer contract and appointment requirements and processes
• State (multiple) Agency and Producer contract and appointment laws and processes

Requires ability to:
• Comply with established workflows and processes
• Achieve and sustain department production goals
• Achieve and sustain department quality/accuracy goals
• Assess and recommend new procedures and strategies when necessary, to increase the group's efficiency, effectiveness or accuracy
• Identify and reconcile non-compliant items
• Research and analyze data, draw conclusions and make recommendations

The position also requires:
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc)
• Knowledge of or ability to learn and effectively utilize internal systems such as PALIS, producer etc.
• Ability to learn/apply new technologies.

Candidate must possess:
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to convey thoughts/procedures in a clear and concise manner to management, team members and customers.
• Ability to effectively and efficiently interact with management, other staff members and internal/external customers.
• Strong analytic and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrable organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple work assignments to meet deadlines.
• Desire to accept accountability and demonstrates good decision making skills.
• Ability to drive solutions; both on production and project work assignments.
• Ability to work independently, crafting and completing tasks to provide the requested output.
